I have told you about my short visit, during last June, to the island of Kea. What I did not tell you is that there I met a ...factory! Once upon a time (since 1927) there was an industrial unit on the island, the biggest of its kind in the Mediterranean area, producing enameled utensils, such as plates, kitchenware, millitary helmets and canteens, and several other articles. The factory closed down in 1957, its buildings were abandoned and ruined. The few of its machines that were saved are exhibited but the exhibition is in the outdoors. Ι post just a few of the photos I made. Further information you can find here.
